Aladdin etoken

Aladdin eToken PRO provides authentication and non-repudiation for applications such as e-Banking, stock exchange transactions, eCommerce and financial transactions.

Aladdin eToken PRO’s integrated 1024 bytes and 2048 bytes RSA operations allow their incorporation into the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) architecture. Aladdin eToken PRO generates and stores private keys, passwords and digital certificates in its chip's protected environment itself. The user’s private key is permanently kept on the token.

Cost-efficient and user-friendly, Aladdin eToken PRO is an actual reader-free smartcard, which can be easily moved from a computer to another, worn on a key pendant or inside a pocket.

Using advanced encryption technology, Aladdin eToken PRO offers both dual factor authentication and two authentication methods. With its integrated advanced cryptographic processors, ITSEC LE4 certificate and its water- and accidental shocks-resistant casing, Alddin eToken is the perfect choice for e-Business security.

  • Certificate Windows login

Interactive login based on the certificate stored on a smartcard starts when a user enters the personal smartcard into a reader that sends to the Windows 2000 (or later) operating system a PIN authentication request in exchange for the set of data including the username, domain name and password.

Entering the card is equivalent to pressing the "Ctrl-Alt-Del" keys combination, usually used to initiate password-based logon. The user's PIN is used only for smartcard, not for domain authentication.

The smartcard certificate is used for domain authentication through the Kerberos protocol (version 5) and associated PKINIT extensions.
